Sadhana Club, in association with Amrita Darshanam and the Office of Student Affairs, invites you to “Amma Talks” — an introductory session on the life, journey, and impact of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, lovingly known as Amma, the “Hugging Saint.” Please find the attached poster.

This session is designed to explore some intriguing questions:

• Who is Amma?
• How did Amma become Mata Amritanandamayi Devi?
• What is the story behind her extraordinary journey?
• How did she build such a vast global movement of compassion and service?
• Why do millions of people wait in queues to meet and receive a hug from Amma?
• How has she continued to embrace millions of people even in her 70s?
• What can we learn from Amma and her way of life?
• Most importantly, what can I gain by knowing Amma?

The session will include a presentation, selected videos, and a live 30-minute Q&A. Participants are welcome to bring their own questions and curiosities.
