National Science day is celebrated every year on 28 of February to earmark the discovery of Raman effect by Prof C V Raman. This year Amrita school of Physical sciences is observing this on 3rd march 2023 with events which include an invited talk by Dr Ashok K, Scientist from Vikarm Sarabhai Space Centre (ISRO), Trivandrum.
He will be talking about “Development of atomic oxygen sensor to study upper atmosphere”.His research area includes ceramic Material synthesis and its characterization.
The programme is organized by the final year Students of Department of Sciences, Coimbatore.Besides the invited talk there will be a quiz an Indian Science.
