The journey of democracy in India, right from the Vedic period, is incredible. The democratic system in India, built on the strengths of inclusiveness and diversity, has evolved over the ages. The Indian democracy is marching ahead in its 75th year on the strengths of inclusiveness and diversity; it is not only the world's largest democracy but also the mother of democracy.
ln order to celebrate Indian democratic traditions, the following lecture is organised by Amrita Darshanam -International Centre for Spiritual Studies at the Coimbatore campus.
