SPEAKER
Mr. Rabindra Sah is Tata Technologies' Chief Engineer for Strategic Projects. He has 30 years of experience with Tata Motors and Tata Technologies delivering engineering services (Design to Manufacturing) for more than 100 customers in APAC, Europe, and the United States using digital technologies and Industry 4.0 solutions (28 years in Jamshedpur + 2 years in Bangalore). He has been involved in the development of technologies for autonomous vehicles (self-driving cars/robot taxis), ADAS, and functional safety in automobiles. He has a master's degree in Artificial and Computational Intelligence-AI, Deep Learning-DL, Machine Learning-ML, and Natural Language Processing-NLP. He is now developing a virtual simulation model for autonomous vehicles (self-driving automobiles or robot taxis) on the EPIC gaming platform utilizing Unreal Engine. He is a qualified private pilot as well as a chief engineer. He has been awarded the Customer Whispers Award for the Asia Pacific (APAC) and the Circle of Excellence Award Captive for Innovative Sales Deal of the Year in 2017. Some of his major initiatives include establishing eight greenfield sites (7 in India and one abroad) and 100+ brownfield sites, implementing end-to-end digital manufacturing technologies in Rolls Royce and Tata Steel, and patenting a redesigned leaf spring with a 20% weight reduction and cost savings.
