Overview
Students with strong leadership qualities are invited to apply for the positions of Cultural Representative (CR) and Sports Representative (SR) through a structured nomination process. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of faculty members. These roles aim to promote active student participation and strengthen engagement in departmental, cultural, and sports activities.
Eligibility Criteria (Applicable to All Positions)
1. Academic Requirements
- Candidates must not have more than one arrear in their academic record.
- Minimum CGPA required: 6.5
2. Disciplinary Record
Candidates must have no history of disciplinary action and should maintain good conduct and integrity.
3. Relevant Experience
Applicants should possess prior experience relevant to the role applied for, demonstrating involvement or leadership in similar activities.
4. Strategic Action Plan
Candidates must submit a detailed action plan for the upcoming academic year, including:
- Events and competitions they plan to promote within their department
- Strategies to encourage student participation and improve engagement
Cultural Representative (CR)
Objective:
To foster a vibrant and inclusive cultural environment within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and promote participation in departmental and inter-departmental cultural events.
- Encourage students to showcase their talents through cultural platforms and competitions.
Sports Representative (SR)
Objective:
To promote sports participation and support a healthy campus lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage student participation in sports events and intercampus tournaments.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure access to practice sessions and sports facilities.
