B. Tech. in Civil Engineering

The undergraduate programme in Civil Engineering, has been offered at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham since 2002. The academic activities of the Department lays emphasis on deep understanding of fundamental concepts, development of creative ability to handle the challenges of Civil Engineering, and the analytical ability to solve problems which are interdisciplinary in nature.

The program provides excellent technical knowledge in all the emerging areas of Civil Engineering. The curriculum is updated from time to time as per the recommendations of the Board of Studies in order to keep in pace with the latest developments in the area. Distinguished Lectures supplement classroom instruction, as invited experts share their knowledge and experience with students.
